Our team member Suskihanna Gurung is a Resolve Foundation Hong Kong Fellow this year. She will be mentored by Zoher Abdoolcarim, Director of Leap Limited, and former Asia Editor of TIME. Gurung will have the opportunity to attend group workshops, receive one-on-one mentoring, and gain hands-on experience towards the completion of a final project. She is fully dedicated to equipping herself with human rights knowledge and campaigning skills in the area of racial equality.
Gurung’s goal is to empower ethnic minority youth through personal and career development. She believes that transferable skill sets are valuable assets that can empower ethnic minority youth. Besides her role as a secondary teacher, she is also the content strategist and community director for The Wandering Voice. Through curating educational events and online content, Suskihanna channels her passion in media and education into promoting social inclusion in Hong Kong.
